The purpose of the Kentucky Health Justice Network (KHJN) is to create broad-base and inclusive participation in a health justice movement in Kentucky to increase and improve access, quality, and scope of accurate and culturally-relevant health information and services, particularly those pertaining to comprehensive reproductive health, for communities across Kentucky.

Goals:

  • To engage Kentucky communities and providers in multiple levels of dialogue about reproductive justice as it affects individuals and communities.
  • To develop training and education programming on reproductive health for a range of healthcare and social services professionals.
  • To increase awareness and understanding of how reproductive health affects and is affected by the social and physical environment in Kentucky.
  • To engage in other activities including working with other health, social services, education, human rights, and interested organizations consistent with the above purposes.
